Hortatory Exposition
Example 1 :
Many reasons why we should keep the existence of fresh water.(THESIS)
As we know that a lot of people in Indonesia are deficiency of fresh water for their daily needed. Nowadays it is difficult to find water.
There are many reasons of water deficiency, such as, almost people throw rubbish into river, road, and everywhere. And there are many housing estates in foot of mountain and the side of river. they do these without thinking about their loss from their actions.
And in fact, now in Indonesia many disasters happened, such as flood, landslide, deficiency of water, etc. If the rivers are full of rubbish, they will stop the circulation of water and flood will happen. If the paddy growing areas change into housing estates, the people who live around that areas in the long run will deficiency of water.(ARGUMENT)
So, next time when you want to throw rubbish, don't throw them into river, lake, road, or everywhere, but you must throw them into the available trash bin. And if you or your parents have land in foot of mountain, don't sell it to housing estates contractor. And the last, if you want to make your own house, please don't make it/them in the side of river and remember all those little reasons for keeping the existence of fresh water.(RECOMMENDATION)
Example 2 :
Removing Lead from Petrol
In all the discussion over the removal of lead from petrol (and the atmosphere) there doesn’t seem to have been any mention of the difference between driving in the city and the country.
While I realize my leaded petrol car is polluting the air wherever I drive, I feel that when you travel through the country, where you only see the another car every five to ten minutes, the problem is not as severe as when traffic is concentrated on city roads.
Those who want to penalize older, leaded petrol vehicles and their owners don’t seem to appreciate that, in the country, there is no public transport to fall back upon and one’s own vehicle is the only way to get about.
I feel that the country people, who often have to travel huge distances to the nearest town and who already spend a great deal of money on petrol, should be treated differently to the people who live in the city.
